How the Process Works

Complete the Referral Form
Start by filling in our secure online pre-assessment questionnaires. This gathers the essential information the Consultant Nurse needs ahead of your assessment.

Pay Your £150 Deposit
A £150 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. This is deducted from the total assessment fee.

- Balance (£500 / £700) is paid on the day of your assessment
Once your deposit is received, we will contact you to book your appointment date and time.

Attend Your Assessment
Assessments can be conducted online via secure video consultation, depending on availability and your preference.
During your appointment, the Consultant Nurse will carry out a full ADHD evaluation, answer your questions, and ensure you feel safe, understood, and supported

How do I get an ADHD assessment?
You can self-refer directly. The process includes questionnaires and a detailed clinical history before your appointment. You do not need a letter from your GP to get a private ADHD assessment.
Do I need a referral from my GP to get started?
No. For a private assessment, you can book directly with us. You do not need a letter from your doctor to get started, which helps avoid any unnecessary delays.
How much is a private ADHD assessment?
The Diagnostic Assessment is a one-time fee of £650. We also offer a Fast-Track Diagnostic Assessment (guaranteed within 7 working days) for £850.
What happens during the assessment?
A structured clinical conversation explores symptoms, childhood history, and current functioning, supported by evidence-based tools and clinical judgement.
How long does the assessment process take?
Our assessments are designed to be thorough yet efficient. The clinical appointment typically lasts around 150 minutes, and we aim to schedule your assessment session within 1-2 weeks of booking.
Is the assessment conducted online?
Yes, all assessments are delivered via secure video consultation. This allows you to attend your appointment from the comfort of your own home, anywhere in the UK.
Who will carry out my assessment?
Your assessment will be conducted by an experienced clinician registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). All our clinicians have specialist training in ADHD diagnosis.
What happens during a child or young person’s ADHD assessment?
A child ADHD assessment involves more than one stage. This typically includes a structured clinical conversation with a parent or carer covering developmental history, behaviour and education, a conversation with the young person where age and circumstances allow, and review of school information and age-appropriate rating scales. The clinician will consider all likely explanations for the difficulties, not only ADHD. A written report with recommendations is provided following the assessment.
What should I do if I think I have ADHD?
